Vertigo’s goal was to bring a new and vibrant way of listening while also socializing with your friends and family. Their patented technology empowers you to invite your friends, your followers or the world to share in every moment of your life in a new way — one where they can listen to your curated songs beat-for-beat while you layer in live video, audio and chat.

Vertigo's vision is social, and loud. We went with a visual identity to match. Clean, functional UI seamlessly guides users through a vast set of features.

The Work.

The illustrative style and color palette we created was made for animation and accessibility across a variety of mobile screens.

Song Story Contest

Daily contests encourage users to upload video content to clips of popular music with the chance of winning a variety of prizes. 

Because of the sheer volume of contests, we created a template system designed to attract attention, while also unifying a variety of artist photo styles.

Badge Design

We also designed a badge system for contest winners using our signature illustrative style.

Tribe vs. Tribe Competitions

Upon launching, fan-factions started developing around artists.  In response, we created Tribe vs. Tribe competitions pitting fan-bases against each other.
